An ex-pupil Peter Scott fondly remembers the teacher Mr Orr. 
"Mr Orr was my last teacher at Dalmarnock in 1937. He was a gentleman and a great teacher. Every Friday afternoon he would read to the class a few chapters of a 'Bulldog Drummond' novel. It was a good end to a school week.............."

Dear Will, thank you, you did it again. I just found a picture of my sister in the 1940 11 year olds, she's in row 3 # 8. Her name is May Crainey. Her best pal, Nancy Mann is listed as being in Row 2 # 5, she's actually # 7. I should know, she and my sister were pals up to the time when my sister came to the U.S.A. in 1959.
