I found it Brill to find these school photographs and it took me back and
opened up a lot of great memories. We lived at 54 Ruby Street with
Mum and Dad in a single end before moving to Drumchapel we had
another brother who went to Dalmarnock in between my wee sis and I
his name was Andrew Wolfenden. Sadly both my brothers are no longer
with us but wee sister lives in Oz now and I let her know about
website so no doubt she will be logging in. I went on to go to John
Street School and from there I worked in Andrew Ritchies Boxmakers
in James Street Bridgeton until I married My husband in 1962 .
We lived in Maryhill for a while and then Moved to Drumchapel and from there we moved to Glendaruel Argyll with the children(3) 2 girls 1boy we brought the children up in the Glen and then moved to Dunoon and lived there for 15years I now live in Carluke where we moved to beside my youngest daughter so that I could get help with my husband who had been ill for the past 7years and sadly died this year in March. I am not very good on computer as my husband only bought me the laptop last Christmas, but he couldn't have bought me anything better as I am enjoying keeping in touch with my sis in oz and also my oldest daughter and granddaughter in USA. So I hope you will forgive any mistakes and that this email is of some help and I am sorry if this is a bit long
winded but I am enjoying the website very much Thank You Phyllis
Cross (nee Woldenden)
