Willie attended Dalmarnock Primary School 1952 to 1959 Now living in Ramsgate, Kent.
"Our teacher was Miss Park who had half rimmed specs, a bun in her
hair, parked her
black Austin car in the playground next to the Jannie's house and
always smelled very nice!!"

Sonny Love lived in Baltic St. up Biggar's close and Billy Sinclair lived at the
corner of Baltic St & Dunn St. His maw, Sybil had the wee grocers shop round the corner in Dunn St. opposite Arrol's works " |

Thomson (nee McNeil), Cambuslang,
Scotland, "I got this website from Willie Gibson my name was Mary McNeill I stayed in Dunn St. I think I am no.6 in the photo second row, next to June Craven. I was a very close friend to June , Edith , Jessie ,Harriet and Betty Wood. I think 2nd row no.4 is Ruth Neilly or Heilly I hope this rings a bell. I have kept in close touch with June all these years, she married Davy Colbert he was a wee bit older than us! |
