"I have some photos (three in all) of classes in the school, and something for the memory page.......
Thank you for a wonderful trip down memory lane. The photos are of 1947, 1951, and 1953. 
DPS was a great wee school and it was too bad that we lost a lot of friendships due to new housing estates, however thanks to your website we have a second chance to rekindle memories and friendships we thought lost forever. 
I've just made contact  with another classmate through your web site, Joan Mercer, who now lives in Seattle, USA and  whom I haven't seen in almost 50yrs. The e-mails have been red hot as we've caught up with the lost years."

"Hi again Will,  My old school friend, Billy McBride, in Inverness, e.mailed me a few weeks ago and came up with some more names for the photos of 1953-4 ---11year olds.
Great website, My cousin Gordon Cruikshank in Canada is hooked. He has been telling me how much he has enjoyed it.     All power to your elbow!!!

As most of you know our school and local primary schools are amalgamating to form one new school.
We are celebrating the life of the school and during October 2004 we had our open week as part of the celebrations. One of our many visitors was former pupil Rosemary MacMillan ( nee Morton) seen here with her husband Stewart. It was lovely to meet them both and Rosemary your home baking was super!
