Former pupil Mrs Chrissie Forrester (nee Edgar) who gained her dux medal 70 years ago in 1935 !!!! was invited along to our prizegiving and presented the girls dux medal, a lovely moment.  Christina also presented last years dux

It was with great pleasure that I had the honour of presenting the medal to the boy winner.
Douglas was a very happy lad .... he flew off his seat in the hall and ran up to collect his dux when Mrs Winters announced his name, much to everyone's delight...he was beaming from ear to ear!

It was very pleasing for the staff to see proud parents along at the prizegiving and none were more proud than the parents of our dux winners .........

Interesting footnote is Mr & Mrs Magee's son Scott won the school dux in 2003! 
There can't be many families who can claim this feat.
